Yesterday morning my friend Kathy and I headed out very early to go to Danville to attend a funeral. Our friend Cam’s mom passed away on Sunday. Cam had texted me the address so I punched it into the GPS. We had a nice drive down (it was a little over 2 hours). We got to our destination a little early so decide to grab a cup of tea. We head out and at the same time it comes in our heart to go to the McDonalds up on the left. We both smile seeing yet again how God directs every step. We walk in and Kath orders while I walk to the restroom. As I walk up to get my tea, Kathy is getting settled in but seems determined to do something. I said, “Kath, do you need me to get you something?” She said, “No, thanks I got it.” I could see her heart was focused on something important – it was more than just getting honey for her tea. I order my tea and as I turn to go back to where we are sitting, this older gentleman’s smile catches my eye. God’s Love began overflowing from my Heart so strongly. He reminds me of my Grandpa Paprstein. His eyes light up and his smile fills up every bit of your heart! He felt like an Angel, the joy was just permeating from him. I get to the table, set my tea down and Kathy begins to share with me what just happened. She said, “While I was in line there was this older gentleman. He was obviously homeless. He had all of these bags all around him. He had ordered a coffee and so carefully counted the exact change to pay for it.” I looked off to the side as it played out in front of me what happened. It was as if they were the last coins he had in his pocket. She continued, “It was so strong in my heart to buy a $5 gift card and give it to him. So I bought it and then went over to give it to him. I said, ‘Here’s a gift card for you to get something to eat. It has $5 on it.’ He looked at me with such appreciation that a complete stranger would open their heart to help him. He said, ‘you mean I can get myself a hamburger?’ I said ‘yes’. It was amazing.” I got a tear in my eye seeing yet again how one simple act of kindness can change a life. I said, “Kath, that was so nice of you. Isn’t it something how one simple act can forever touch a heart? That’s why we’re here and I look forward to the whole world living that Love.” She said, “I know, me too.”

It was time to get to the funeral we only have 7 minutes. We get in the car, drive back to where the GPS sent us but realize it is the wrong place, there were no cars. We walked in and discovered the address Cam had given us was to the funeral home and not the church. They kindly gave us directions to the service. On the way to the church we both turn to look at the McDonalds where we had just grabbed a cup of tea. We looked at each other, the realization poured into our hearts that had we had the correct address we would have never gone to that particular McDonalds because it was 2 to 3 miles past the church. We smiled knowing God has a plan in all things. So the next time you have headed a couple miles in the wrong direction trust God has a plan and as long as your Heart is open and willing, He is going to work through it to touch a life along the way. There was no coincidence and although what appeared to be reality that we had gone the wrong way, we were exactly where God needed us to be.

I would like to dedicate this post in memory of Eileen Paris for she lived this kindness and Love in all areas of her life. Her life was the example of living it. I want to encourage you to keep the love going (please Live it! If you want a Live it! card (http://www.inthespiritoflove.org/live-it) to help us promote living Love in the world, please email me and I will get one sent to you right away. We are spreading awareness of how critical it is to touch the human heart and live that Love every day. We would Love for you to help us get this message out there.

Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)

Growing up my Dad would always say, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” We have choices in life that only we can make. Many are learning how to hear His Voice (how to listen to the pull on their heart – the Heart Tug) and that is wonderful but what is pressing on my Heart is although more hear Him, very few actually walk forward in what is being spoken. What good is it to hear His Voice if you don’t actually take the steps to do what He is commanding? He wants a Blessed Life for you as much as you do. The way for you to get that Blessed Life is to hear the steps He is ordering and make the choice to walk in it.

You have had a strong pull on your heart (Heart Tug) that you have been pushing to the side. Delay no more in that prompting, do not let any worry blanket you but instead trust God and take the steps He is directing. I know it seems scary but He will bless you for it. Where He guides, He provides … for when He speaks to us and we are obedient to what has been spoken, we will never thirst but will always have exactly what we need at the exact time we need it – who wouldn’t want that Blessed Life? It’s time for all your ways to be Blessed – listen and then have the courage to take the steps to the fully Blessed Life He has planned specifically for you – I’m excited for you (yes, it’s that good! :)

Many Blessings to you, with MUCH Love!!! :)
